I know this isn't applicable in Manila, where the drivers always have the right to not give way when they are behind the pedestrian crossing, but to those who are very obedient to the rules, I would have to agree with this rant.

I get stressed and I feel the pressure when a car waits for me to cross the pedestrian crossing. And to show how much I appreciate the car waiting for me, I walk fast. Sometimes, when I see that the car has been waiting for so long to drive across the pedestrian crossing because of the nonstop pedestrians coming to walk across, when it's my turn, I give them the sign to just move along, and I'll just wait for the next car to stop.
